A used truck and van dealer is coming to Gurnee.John Priola’s Gurnee Truck Center will be located at 1081 N. Skokie Highway. He anticipates sales of 800 used vehicles within 90 to 120 days after opening.

Priola operates a similar facility in Highland Park. He told the board he has decided to expand to Gurnee at the site of the former Waukegan Glass facility.

Priola said he only deals in used vans and industrial trucks, but attracts both walk-in sales as well as 20 percent from nationwide Internet sales with reciprocal sales tax agreements.
